This is by far the most famous sermon ever preached by Lewis. Its setting during World War II just adds to the significance of what he has to say.Black cloth boards with title in gilt on the front cover and a gilt decoration below that. The dust wrapper contains the price of $1.25. There is an odd angular trim to the dust wrapper which comes from the publisher. 66 pp.Externally the book is near fine. Internally there is some underlining in two of the addresses. The dust wrapper has a faded spine and wrinkling at the top making it VG. Brown 42; Hooper A20
