Wichita, Kansas: The Defender Publishers, February, 1936. Illustrated. First Edition. Vintage Magazine. Edited by Gerald B. Winrod, a controversial figure and American fascist who claimed to be a Christian, yet was staunchly anti semitic, and a Hitler sympathizer who thought that the Nazis would cleanse Europe of Communism. During World War II, Winrod was charged with sedition, yet the charges were later dropped.

Paper cover illustrated with a photograph of "Ahab's Ivory House", said to be 9th century B.C.'s King Ahab's house from the Bible and his Queen Jezebel, all in black and white. Side stapled. Issues of "The Defender Magazine" include articles by various authors, usually by clergy, doctors, evangelists, lay people, sometimes government officials, and Gerald B. Winrod. Also includes many advertisements. Illustrated with artwork throughout in black and white. 36 pp.
