This Bible is from the library of renowned fantasy writer Robert Jordan. Black leather with gilt page edges. It contains Scofield's famous notes and a small atlas in the back. Jordan died in 2007. In 2018 a small chain of used book stores called Mr. K's bought Jordan's library of about 10,000 books. This Bible came from that purchase. But Jordan only rarely put his name in his books so how can we prove this? It is rather circuitous. Robert Jordan's real name was James Oliver Rigney, Jr. He married Harriet P. Rigney who was also known as Harriet McDougal. Harriet was previously married so we do not know if McDougal was her maiden name or previous marriage name. Harriet (McDougal) P. Rigney had a sister named Louisa Cheres Raoul who had a son named Gaston Cesar Raoul III. This Bible has a gift inscription which reads "for Gaston Cesar Raoul on the occasion of his confirmation. from his God-father Dr. Chxxxxxx, 22 January 1967, I Corinthians 13:13." Gaston Cesar Raoul III passed away in 2004. We do not know how Robert Jordan got his wife's nephew's Bible, but there you have it.
