This is the contract that C. S. Lewis signed with Dent on March 25th, 1926 for the publishing of Dymer. It is two pages with a fold. It gives Dent the right to publish Lewis's next two books of poems. This is the copy from Dent's files. Presumably Lewis had a copy. Knowing Lewis's unconcern for paperwork and knowing that, after his death Warnie burned some of Lewis's papers, it seems doubtful that Lewis's copy still exists. The document is preprinted with open spaces that have been filled in by typewriter. There are also corrections made by hand. 13 inches tall. There are minor folds from Dent's storage. The primary fold between the two pages is split from the top for about 2.5 inches. Shelley and Son Books specializes in C.S.Lewis, J.R.R.Tolkien & the Inklings
