The College of Charleston opened its doors in 1790, admitted women in 1918, and in 1922, graduated its first woman who had completed the regular four year classical course. This inaugural yearbook, The Comet, features many black and white photographs of students, the campus and the sports teams. A section entitled 'Sense and Nonsense' presents the various clubs, cartoons, jokes and local advertisements. Bound in textured maroon paper board, raised print and border in gold on front, illustrated end papers. Mildly foxed covers, end papers and page edges. Full refund if not satisfied.
