Contains bookplate of Edward Blake. Minimal penciled notes in margins. Numerous engraved portrait plates protected by tissue guards. Includes 3 fold-out aerial views of Boston (2 near the front have slightly tattered fore-edge where they protrude from textblock). Page 548 has adhered newspaper clipping from 1865 with article about The Old First Church. Pages are clean, crisp and tightly bound.
