Two leather-bound volumes: first contains vols I-II, second contains III-IV. Both have marbled edges and black-and-white engravings throughout. Brown leather covers have embossed boards, 4 raised bands and gilt lettering on spine. First volume has heavily rubbed boards, corners, and edges. Spine is severely chipped, compromising title. Boards are dislocated from binding, endleaves torn.
