The book is the Quillian Lectures for 1905 delivered in the chapel of Emory College (as stated on the title page.) The preface indicates that the Quillian lectures were funded by Rev. W. F. Quillian in 1897. This is the leatherbound copy given to Rev. Quillian. It is full leather with gilt page edges and with his name in gilt on the front. His name is also handwritten on the first front end sheet. The binding is tight.I spotted 3 or 4 light pencil marks in the text. The leather shows wear at the edges. Very Good.
