Most of the interior is pulled loose from wrappers. This Report was suppressed, probably due to the proposals of Taylor for changes to the Societies' collections. Between the date of this Report, Jan. 9, 1865, and Mar. 4, 1865, he seems to have been forced out. Page 15 consists of a lengthy explanation of why he is no longer in office, due to scurrilous attacks on him.
