London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown, 1816. Hardcover. VOLUME 1 OF 3. 1/4 leather with marbled boards. Both boards rubbed and showing shelf wear. 4 raised bands on spine with two black leather labels with gilt lettering. Spine is chipped at the top and bottom and shows some wear to the outer hinges. Both hinges could be considered "starting" though they both remain intact and reasonably strong. Some foxing throughout, a few pages have been dog-eared, and there appears to be no marginalia or handwriting within, except for a previous owner's name in ink on the front free endpaper and another name on the back pastedown. vii. 310 pp. Indexed.
