Countess Potocka (Cabinet Photo)
Cabinet Photo. Delfina Potocka, née Komar (March 1807 – 2 April 1877), a Polish countess, was a friend and muse to Polish expatriate artists Frédéric Chopin and Zygmunt Krasiński. She was noted for her beauty, intellect and artistic gifts. (Wikipedia). A style of photograph first introduced in 1863 by Windsor & Bridge in London, the cabinet photo is a photographic print mounted on card stock. The Cabinet card got its name from its suitability for display in parlors, especially in cabinets, and was a popular medium for family portraits. Full refund if not satisfied. Very Good.
