Two frontispieces reflect a portrait of Friar Junipero Serra and the Cloisters, San Juan Capistrano, (respectively), in black and white. Contains a list of illustrations, and a list of Missions in order of their dedication. 280 pp. Dust jacket is a cream color with illustrated brown label with white and brown lettering on the cover. Brown lettering on the dj spine. Dj is not original to this copy. Protected by a mylar cover. This copy comes from the library of previous owner, Terry Ruscin, author of Mission Memoirs: A Collection of Photographs, Sketches & Reflections of California's Past. His circular ex libre mark is blindstamped on the front flyleaf. Light discoloration and shelf wear, yet the binding is strong, and leaves are free from marginalia and creasing, except for annotation in pencil verso the fly title page. A nice copy.
