Paperback. Cover shows a full color image of a hand colored postcard showing Mission San Juan Capistrano cireca turn of the century, with green lettering, and black lettering on the spine. Title page is illustrated. As noted on the copyright page, the Imprimatur is William R. Johnson, Bishop of Orange in California; the "Nihil Obstat" is Rev. Newman C. Eberhardt, C.M., Censors Deputatus. Frontispiece is a photograph taken in 1992 from the roof of the Serra Chapel in black and white. [x] 223 pp. Illustrated dust jacket matches the book's cover, has a cream background green color tones, with black lettering on the covers and spine. Protected by a mylar cover. This copy comes from the library of previous owner, Terry Ruscin, author of Mission Memoirs: A Collection of Photographs, Sketches & Reflections of California's Past. His circular ex libre mark is blindstamped on the front flyleaf. A nice copy.
