CONDITION: Cover shows overall wear and discoloration. Inner hinges have cracked, yet boards are firmly attached and the binding is solid. Occasional dampstain, yet text and illustrations are largely unaffected. Volume I contains a full page of handwritten family records on the front flyleaf of the family of William Marriott (not ancestors of the hotel family) in dipped ink, the earliest date being 1807. Leaves have lightly toned with only occasional discoloration or marking. Engravings are magnificent. A lovely heirloom-quality set. At over 22 lbs. with shipping materials, due to this set's size and weight, an additional shipping charge will apply. Full refund if not satisfied. Very Good.
