CONDITION: All volumes half bound forest green publishers cloth, brown hubbed leather spine; gilt titles within red. Wear to corners, head and tail of spines, outer gutters. Rubbed with minor edge fading; red speckled page edges. Cracked inner hinges, yet bindings are solid. Backstrips are frail, brittle, chipped. Volume II missing top 4" of backstrip; no backstrip on Volume III. Leaves are mildly foxed with darkened edges, yet easily read. Double columned text. Each approximately 500 pp. Volumes have previous owner's stamp "Rev. W. J. O'Shaughness, Girvan, Ayrshire". Very good condition.
