Bound in black publisher's cloth with gilt lettering and decoration on the cover. Spine is plain. Belonged to Freemason C. Tabor Bruce, whose initiation into the order is recorded on the front pastedown in ink, dated 1946. Illustrated occasionally throughout with black and white images. Frontispiece is a portrait of author Charles F. Bahnson, Assistant Grand Lecturer, also in black and white. 84 pp. External cover shows moderate wear and some soiling, predominantly on the back. Crack at gutter between pages 58 and 59, yet binding is still sound. A one inch open tear is present on page 67, yet text and illustration is uncompromised. A nice, very readable copy.
