When printing the various impressions of the first edition, no boxed sets were produced. With the second edition, boxed sets were introduced. These three books were, in sequence, the twelfth, the eleventh, and the eleventh impressions of the second set. We know they were a book club edition because there is no price on the dust wrappers and the box has a small "0456" on the label.
The books are black with the ring device on the front cover. Each ring device has a color which matches the top stain and dust wrapper of that title. Each book has a map in the back. All dust wrappers say "REVISED EDITION" at the bottom.
CONDITION: The books are in wonderful condition. No writing. Tight bindings. The dust wrappers are VG+ at least with minor edge wear.
