Silk ribbon bookmark. 752 pp.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dean Frederic William Farrar (1831 –1903) was a senior-ranking cleric of the Church of England, schoolteacher and author. He was a pallbearer at the funeral of Charles Darwin in 1882. He was a member of the Cambridge Apostles secret society. He was the Archdeacon of Westminster from 1883 to 1894, and Dean of Canterbury from 1895 until his death in 1903.

CONDITION: Moderate shelf ware with a 1/2 inch tear at the lower half of the spine. Front hinge has cracked, yet boards are still well affixed. Only very occasional annotation or underlining in pencil. Previous owner's name is written on the front flyleaf. Even so, this is a very pretty and solid copy. Full refund if not satisfied. Very Good.
