Dual columned. Each volume is 10.25 inches tall x 6.25 inches wide, with the exception of volume IV, which measures 10.5 inches tall x 7 inches wide. Each vary in thickness between 2 and 2.75 inches thick. On a shelf, this set spans 8.75 inches. Interestingly, an antiquarian "Schedule of Hours" for college classes has been left in the book in Volume III by a previous student, with handwriting on the back and presumed to be dated in the year 1845.

CONDITION: Good to Very Good, all volumes present are significantly scuffed and worn with some leather stripping. The front board of Volume I is detached, yet present, and the leather is pulling away at the head of the spine; also has a stamp at the bottom of page ix within the General Preface for "Wofford College Library", but no other ex-library markings or attributes are present. Set is heavily foxed but text is still fully legible. Some leaves have detached yet are present and laid in. Previous owner's names are written within the front endpapers in antiquarian dipped ink or pencil. Even so, this is a solid set. Full refund if not satisfied. Good +.
