The Methodist Book Concern. The first four volumes of this six volume set are the Old Testament and the last two volumes are the New Testament. The subtitle says: "The text carefully printed from the most correct copies of the present authorized translation and parallel texts with A Commentary and Critical Notes designed as a help to a better understanding of the sacred writings.
The first four volumes have no date. Volume five shows the publisher as "New York: Eaton & Mains" and "Cincinnati: Jennings & Graham." Both of these are branches of The Methodist Book Concern. The binding for volume V exactly matches the other bindings. " The first four volumes say "A new edition, with the author's final corrections." Volumes 5 and 6 say "A new edition, condensed and supplemented from the best modern authorities by Daniel Curry, LLD."
Volume six has a cracked hinge and somewhat look binding. The other volumes are quite nice. Some volumes have an owner's name in them.
