Archibald Hamilton Rutledge (1883-1973) was an American poet and educator, the first South Carolina poet laureate from 1934 to 1973. He wrote over 50 books and many poems, usually about his hunting and life experiences in South Carolina. (wiki). At the time of this writing, Rutledge was teaching in Pennsylvania so when he had "days off" he returned to South Carolina. The book is mostly about sporting life - hunting and fishing, but also about life around Hampton Plantation. Full refund if not satisfied. Very Good / No Jacket.
