The Complete Biblical Library (7 Volumes ONLY Out of a 16 Volume Set)
Springfield, Missouri: The Complete Bible Study Library, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991. Illustrated. Hardcover. The goal of The Complete Biblical Library was to create a one-stop comprehensive New Testament library for pastors, teachers, and serious lay students — combining Bible text, commentary, word studies, and language helps without requiring advanced knowledge of Greek. It is written from a conservative evangelical / Pentecostal perspective (associated with the Assemblies of God).
This matching set is bound in dark chocolate brown textured cloth, covers bear gilt lettering. Three black labels stamped in gilt accents and lettering on each spine. The one exception is that Volume 1 is a little more of a burgundy color than the rest. Endpapers bear the repeated pattern of the Complete Biblical Library within all endpapers against a dark brown background. Each volume is 10.25 inches tall x 7.5 inches wide, respectively, with varying thicknesses. On a shelf, this set spans 10.5 inches.
VOLUME 1: "Harmony of the Gospels Concerning the Greatest Life Ever Lived". The four gospels in parallel columns together with Jesus - His Story - an interwoven account from all four Gospels by Robert Shank. Profusely illustrated with 118 images in full color, along with cross-references with color-coded block headers for clarity and understanding. Published 1986. 416 pp.
VOLUME 2: "The New Testament Study Bible: Matthew". Published 1989. 730 pp.
VOLUME 3: "The New Testament Study Bible: Mark". Published 1988. 521 pp.
VOLUME 4: "The New Testament Study Bible: Luke". Published 1988. 795 pp.

CONDITION: We've graded all volumes in this set as VG, as they are ex-library. There is no due date pocket or card, the only library markings are the labels on each spine, each textblock head is stamped "Florida Bible College Library", and there is a stamp within the introductory pages which reads "For reference, not to be taken from this room" along with the library dewey decimal numbers written in pencil. Very minor external shelfware, and otherwise completely unmarked. Leaves are bright and bindings are sound. A very nice set which will hold up to rigorous research and study.
