New York: Revell, 1935. Hardcover. Archibald Hamilton Rutledge (1883-1973) was an American poet and educator, the first South Carolina poet laureate from 1934 to 1973. He wrote over 50 books and many poems, usually about his hunting and life experiences in South Carolina. (wiki). The title sounds like a novel but actually this is an educational book with advice for boys going off to private school. The book has a solid binding and no writing but there is an owner's address label on inside of the front cover and a ghost of it just opposite on the first front end paper. Sadly, about one fifth of the front dust jacket is torn away. 124 pp. A scarce and desirable title. Full refund if not satisfied. Very Good / Fair.
