About The Author: A native of Milton, Krause later found himself in the War Department's Chief's office of the Manhattan District, with a group of specialists assigned the task of building and producing an Atomic Bomb. He continued as an aerial photograph with the Fifth Air Force in the Pacific, returning to government service covering the Western Pacific.
